I already moved to California but I still have 3 months remaining insurance policy in Tennessee, what should I do?

Most states would require that you get car insurance that is valid in the state you are registering the vehicle. You would need to provide evidence of the states minimum required auto insurance liability . I suggest that you get a new insurance policy in the state of California and cancel or terminate the insurance policy you have in Tennessee.
